A QUICK SUMMARY OF MY BELIEF SYSTEM BEFORE YOU GET TO THE SITE PAGE INDEX / DIRECTORY BELOW:

I come from the midwest and still have a lot of values and ideals, but I braved THIS world - the world of entertainment in Hollywood - BECAUSE I grew up with a lot of goals and ambitions, and I always wanted to become an inspiration for others who had struggled and been abused and were looked down on and suffered in any way because there hasn't been much I haven't gone through myself! I always wanted to become one of those that showed they could rise above that, escape it, and become part of the opposite spectrum. See, a lot of what I do is - and always HAS been - driven by my hard times...the fact that I WAS told I was worthless and stupid and that I would never accomplish anything...the fact that I was considered and called a geek, a dork, a wimp, boring and uninteresting, etc., etc....that I was looked down on and over-worked and underpaid and struggled like so many others. I've long since forgiven everyone, of course. We all mature eventually - including all of them. I've come across a lot of them - as seemed destined to happen. And most have grown into much better people, and I'm actually quite proud of them for that.

I'm now in one of the most competetive cities and industries in the world going after very big things. So, naturally, my path is going to be much tougher than the average citizen's. But the rewards are greater in the END than the average citizen could imagine. I could have stayed in some small suburban town, become a banker or a manager of some local business or something...got the house, the wife, the white picket fence, etc., etc. But I'd be miserable...comfortable, but dead in many respects. The road may be rough for the big things I'm after, but at least I feel alive and true to myself going after them. I'd much rather kick myself in the ass for trying and failing than for not trying, because for NOT trying, the kick hurts a HELL of a lot MORE! You don't know you can't achieve things if you don't go after them first! I'm going to reach my goals or die trying! If I gave up, I'd never forgive myself. I wouldn't want to live if I gave up on everything.
And, again, I ALWAYS wanted to be one of those people that other downtrodden people look at and say, "Well, look at HIM. HE did it. I can do it, too!" THAT is my ULTIMATE goal. And I want the money to be able to give it to other people...to start my own foundations and charities. I'm addicted to the warm feeling of saving people. That warm feeling when you do something for someone that saves them from whatever trouble they are going through. Or even just that little smile you get from them because you know and they know you've made some kind of difference in their situation. THAT'S what I want - what I've ALWAYS wanted!!!! And I want to do it in the biggest ways possible!! Naturally, as with everything! But I cannot reach that point of stature or influence in some small town with a basic 9-to-5 job. And the positions you can reach in this buisiness are STAGGERING...but POSSIBLE. One has to not be daunted and tricked into believing it is NOT possible to reach that. You have to KNOW and BELIEVE that it IS possible. That's what makes it so difficult - so inaccessible to most - that most people think and believe it cannot be done - that it can't happen. Only those who believe it CAN are the ones who get there! And I'm one of them. It also helps that I DO have the NATURAL love of performing and entertaining others and talents that I seem born with. I'd shown signs of them in VERY early childhood already. It was pretty clear all along the path I was destined to take. My biggest setback was that due to circumstances outside of my own control in a lot of ways...my loyalty to my family and friends despite all that they had put me through...kept me from getting as early of a start as I should have gotten. I've sacrificed it for them when I had gotten a career momentum going time and time again. That's why I'm not QUITE YET where I SHOULD have been by now (but making good progress NOW). If they had been more supportive and encouraging, I could have done both - looked after them AND gotten my careers rolling LONG AGO. But...better late than never!

I've gone through a LOT, but still, I've been blessed with a lot of things also - talents and skills - and I was given them for a reason. I'm spiritual now instead of being religious, but I DO still believe that one parable in which the two servants invest the money they were given as opposed to the one who buried it in the sand was NOT about money. It was about making the most of the gifts given to you and taking risks that can better your life and the lives of others. You were given these things...now go and put them to use and make a better life for yourself. Then be plentiful and share it. That's what I've ALWAYS gotten from that. Instead of being restricted by fear and never taking risks and living only the safest, most risk-free life...is the wrong thing to do (at least for me). USE what has been given you and be productive with it to make it fulfilling for yourself and for others. And THAT...is what my whole life has been about. It's been all about that little parable. So, that's me, basically. Just throw in a mischievous streak or two!!
